We had the most incredible family vacation at Beaches & Dreams! From start to finish everything was perfect. Staff, service, food, tours, location, atmosphere- everything was top 10!

We renewed our vows while we were here and it was picture perfect 🥂Thanks to Darnell who arranged everything so well!

First family trip outside of the USA and we had a rough first day. Melanie, in the front office, arranged a trip to a clinic for our son who smashed his face on the ocean from flipping off the big dock of another resort. Dr. Valentine took great care of us. Restaurant staff were extremely accommodating, supportive and attentive to us while we were so out of sorts.

The menu is small but EVERYTHING is delicious and fresh. Definitely try the Family Lunch if available. We already miss our breakfasts and we’re sad to only have one day with the Sea Bar. Best Pizza and Kebobs!

Our drivers, our tour guides, the office staff and Barracuda gang went above and beyond for every task and request. Ruger, the 19-yr old resort dog, was a bit temperamental but always happy, and he was my one son’s favorite resort member. The local boys were my other son’s favorite people. They hung out every day.

Cabana rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable. We stayed in Scarlett McCaw and our boys in Garden Haven. Two separate rooms/entrances in one cabana. Perfect for our family. Water pressure and toilets are slower here. And that was ok once we adjusted our attitudes.

We were hardly ever in the rooms because we were busy with our adventures and being outside. Everything being arranged and scheduled for us made this experience so amazing that we are already planning our next trip.

Snorkeling, Jungle Horse, Xunatunich, Cave Tubing, Monkey River and Zip Lining at Angel Falls. We saw sharks, schools of fish, beautiful coral, monkeys, crocodiles, bats, toucans, pelicans, ruins that are thousands of years old, and the cleanest water around. We learned so much about Hopkins, Belizeans, culture and history . All of our drivers and guides were passionate.

Weather had canceled an adventure so when we begged for some magic from Melanie and Lauren. Not only did they rearrange our last two days for us but they sent us to a more extreme zip lining company snd I’m so grateful because it was the highlight for all of us. Definitely request Angel Falls if you are the adrenaline seeker. I’m not. I survived. I get motion sick and don’t like heights but Frisco and Jose made me feel so safe and comfortable that I would do it again.

We did not need as much cash as we brought. Restaurant gratuity can be added to the room. We tipped our drivers and guides in cash. Souvenirs in cash are a little cheaper but most places take credit cards.

There are shops in Dangriga Airport. You can buy sunscreen and bug spray there. We brought 4 sunscreen and 2 bug sprays. Needed extra bug spray; we had sun protective clothing and I had a neck fan.

Rent the golf cart. Go into Hopkins. It felt like the safest place on the planet. If you want other snacks, go to the grocery store. I know it might seem different to eat at only certain times when you’re on vacation but it was plenty and perfect (except your arrival travel day if you were like us - we were a hot mess that first day, and they loved on us like family).

ImmBest trip ever. Started with my fantastic pilot . I believe his name was Brian. Expert and so friendly . Safe take off and smooth landing yo Uopkins landing. Greeted byMelainie the office manager. The front desk Personel was top flight.
Let me not leave out my wonderful driver , Oz. So personable and knowledgeable about the layout of the village and possible village excursions. He was also my driver to the incredible waterfall hike. A must. Chsllengingvhutbohvso geautiful and worth the hike
Which brings me to Gicyor, the driver and tour guide tor the Mayanyour of pyramids and digs. He was awesome. His personality was so much fun. The tour was definitely enhanced by his commentary. We went to the “blue hole for a swim and a wonderful restaurant
There was a mix up with my lunch order and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delectable vegetarian lunch to my satisfaction
The food was beyond cesar, Milky, and Hirdman delivered frat gocktaiks Hrlican and Barrel one rum. Every meal was delectable i. Particularly the lobster tail and ribs. Bird man made sure I tasted a local fruit Cranoo. Delectable. Also a featured cocktail along with tamarind. The goconlicoband the coconut Kim are a must and the Jawuarbjuice.I am young back . I did not have enough time

This resort is absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and accomodating, the scenery is lovely. We loved our stay there. The Barracuda Bar attached was amazing. Every dish served was better than the last by friendly servers such as Amanda and Milky and the bartender Ben matched with incredible drinks. Our tour guide for some of our excursions, Oz was incredibly knowledgeable and shared much of the history and culture of the community. All around 10 stars, best vacation! - Tiffany - 7/20/2024 

I always take a trip for my birthday each year. These folks made me so happy that this year I stayed with them. They even wrote Happy birthday with delicious topping on my dessert. All I can say is WOW! I miss it already. We visited Beaches and Dreams in August for a week's vacation with my family and my sister's family. We stayed in the Blue Parrot house booked through Beaches and Dreams, which allowed us all to be together with a pool on the beach. Making the reservations and booking the tours was a piece of cake. They just took such good care of us from the get go. Any question or issue was addressed immediately. The all Belizian staff was one of the best parts. They truly became our friends. During planning, I was a little worried about only having one restaurant, but it was actually one of my favorite parts. They had new dinner specials each day and the food was fantastic as was the service! Ben, Evan, Milky, Ceasar, Amanda...you guys are WONDERFUL. Oh, and the tours...I really thought they were booked through another company, but no...we had our very own tour guides and our tours were incredible. Our favorite had to be the Mayan temple and Cave Tubing with Oz. It was a FULL day, but I have never experienced anything like it and learned so much about Belizian history and culture. All of the tour guides...Oz, Victor, K-Mike, and the snorkeling crew again, just took great care of us. Everything was planned to perfection. This is truly a little slice of heaven. We went there to relax and have a little fun and I can honestly say, it was one vacation that I came home actually feeling rested. The sad part is that I really want to go back. - Emily - 8/28/2024 

Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.

If you’re looking for a place that blends beauty, adventure, incredible food, and heart—Beaches and Dreams is it. I can’t wait to go back. 🌴💙 - Brandy - 12/17/2025
