This place was special! It was my kids and husbands first international trip and it couldn’t have been better. First off the people at this resort will exceed your expectations. They smile, they don’t complain, their willingness to help, they share their culture, they are fun and even smile for the camera. They are so organized and keep everything running smoothly. The rooms are great! A wide variety of activities to do and the guides are so amazing! We loved every minute, loved Hopkins, loved the people. Mike and I are ready to go back. We actually stayed at the sister hotel parrot cove but the whole experience was very nice. The food at the Barracuda restaurant was amazing and the staff was top notch!!! A real hidden gem in my opinion. With that being said Chef Robs restaurant at parrot cove was a let down for us!! - Caleb - 2/01/2025 

The employees at Beaches & Dreams are what makes this resort so fabulous. It is a small resort with only 11 rooms. Because of the smaller size, we really got to know the employees and the other guests. One of my friends hurt her back while there. Melanie in the office called the local pharmacy to ask about a back brace, but they didn't have any. So, Melanie had her husband bring hers from home which she sold to my friend. Wow! I can't single out any one thing. Miss P, Ben, Birdman, Keith, Cesar, Amanda, several others. I can't remember everyone's name. Service was amazing. The adventures were awesome. The wife and I are trying to decide when to come back for another visit. Would highly recommend. - Robert - 3/09/2023 

I had an incredible stay at Beaches and Dreams! The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, every interaction felt personal and kind. What really stood out was how much the locals love to share their history, culture, and knowledge of the surrounding wildlife. It made the whole experience feel so much more connected and meaningful.

The resort itself is beautifully set right on the beach, surrounded by coconut trees, with the sound of the waves as a constant backdrop. It’s about a mile from the village, which makes it feel peaceful and tucked away, but with golf carts and bicycles available to rent, getting into town is easy and fun.

The amenities are thoughtful and well-maintained,you can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend Beaches and Dreams to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, beauty, and immersion in local culture. - Tina - 5/18/2025

Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.

Beaches and dreams was AMAZING! Every staff person was extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They were flexible and did a great job helping plan our week. One of us got sick and the staff made it a point to go out of their way to help in any way that they could.
