Beachfront Accommodations
Restaurant and bar, lots of food to eat everyday, we had to cut back drastically as there was so much. Enough of a variety for a weeks stay. Loved the fresh made everything. Loved the staff who got to know us pretty quickly. Shout out to Ben, Amanda, Kelsey. Mrs. P. And Doreen. All were great.
Loved that we choose our excursions ahead of time and had our days planned out. We did Bioluminescence tour, snorkeling, ruin and cave tubing, ATV, and monkey river tours. Great tour guides, KMiike was wonderful in the water tours.
We felt spoiled by all staff. We loved the small all inclusive feel over a Larger resort. Would highly recommend the resort and Hopkins village.
Read the information posted when making a reservation, they are very upfront with what is offered, available and costs.
Notes = they can’t control the weather or the sand bugs. But they do offer suggestions for both, so there are no surprise.
Use a golf cart to visit the village, a small town close by.
Thanks so much for a great vacation, will recommend and come back. - nadine - 3/15/2025

It's as advertised. A change of pace. The restaurant is very, very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of our interactions were with Victor and Keith on tours, and Milky and Ben in the restaurant. Miss P was cool too. For the week we were there (last week) we felt like the staff was part of our lives. It must be a talent they have to get that connected to people week in and week out. The ebb and flow of people coming and going. Must be a blur. The resort is your base for tours and adventures. The village of Hopkins is a brief diversion. Rent a golf cart and you can cover Hopkins in two hours. Highly regard this resort, just know what it is you want to do and have a plan. If you just want to sit around and look at the ocean that's great too. Just don't tell you're bored later. Have a plan for activities and go see Belize! - Walt - 1/01/2025

From information gathering and booking, to during our stay... can't say enough good things!
The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Sadly we visited at the start of rainy season, so didn't get to enjoy their beach. BUT, the stay, food, and excursions have all been great!
Very family or couple friendly. - ryanbS7385MS - 7/30/2023read moreread less - - MattThis place has exceeded our expectations 10 fold. From the moment we have arrived till right now as I’m sitting in a chair at cabana village with a cold beer looking at the beautiful ocean. If the views don’t wow you the staff will. The food is amazing wait staff and bar tenders make sure you’re taken care of. Some of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time. Tomorrow is our last full day and I’m dreading saying bye to everyone . Ryan and Jess thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You have made this the absolute best vacation we have ever had and if I could rate this 100 stars I would . I hope the entire staff reads this and I hope they have enjoyed our company as much as we have enjoyed theirs . Love you guys, truly ! We will be back….. - - BrandyBeaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.
Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!
The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.
And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.
What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.
People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.
And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.
If you’re looking for a place that blends beauty, adventure, incredible food, and heart—Beaches and Dreams is it. I can’t wait to go back. 🌴💙 - Brandy - 12/17/2025read moreread less - - Julie
This is a wonderful boutique resort! We were here Saturday to Saturday in early March. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We did lots of excursions including snorkeling the barrier reef, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, Monkey river, ATV ride and bioluminescent lagoon. We had a fabulous time on all of them. The day we went snorkeling the water was rough but Captain Floyd did his best to make the ride a little smoother. Kamike was great at pointing out a leopard ray and lots of cool stuff on the reef. The restaurant staff (Ms P, Amanda, Milky, Ben, Kelsy, Doreen, and so many more!) were always pleasant and the food was top notch. The chef prepared specials daily that were so good. A couple recommendations: definitely bring lots of bug repellant! Also, the bio tour would be great when there's no moon. The moon was so bright that the bio lagoon wasn't as spectacular, but it was still cool to see. They also go the extra mile to schedule tours when it's not as busy with cruise ship traffic. We felt very safe and well taken care of! A quick note to also thank the office staff, Justin who was "Johnny on the spot" for all our needs. Darnell, Darnel, and Nadine helped us with our schedule, Keith was great on our Mayan Ruins and cave tubing day. So many great experiences! I hope I got everyone! We love you guys! - Julie - 3/16/2025

The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all! - - CrystalOur week at Beaches and Dreams will live as one of the most memorable vacations we've had. I would not hesitate to book this resort again. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and seemed always to be working hard at making sure guests are getting everything they need and having a great time. The resort itself is very small, so we ran into many of the same people daily which we thought was very nice. Even when we took a golf cart into the village we found the people to be very friendly. I would absolutely suggest booking the food and drink package, we're so glad we did as the meals were so delicious and with the different nightly specials there were plenty of choices. There are bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boards available to borrow, golf carts available to rent, and you can arrange shuttles; all making it really easy to get around. We also booked several tours with the resort, and had a great time at every one. We are beach walkers, and were really happy to find out that Hopkins keeps its sand and water open to everyone so we were able to walk the beach as far as we wanted. We have been to many places over the years but I don't think any other destination tops the level of service, friendliness, and food we found at B&D. Thank you for a great week! - Crystal - 2/12/2026read moreread less

Beaches and dreams was AMAZING! Every staff person was extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They were flexible and did a great job helping plan our week. One of us got sick and the staff made it a point to go out of their way to help in any way that they could. Beaches and dreams is small which made it feel like a small family and we knew the staff as well as they knew us by name! - Danielle - 2/01/2025
