Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

I do not have one negative word about Beaches and Dreams. I love the small quaintness of the resort but has all the amenities and then some that you could need. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Our room was spotless, and the mattress was comfortable. The beachfront was amazing and so close to the rooms. The food was fabulous. I ate fresh seafood for lunch and dinner every single day and it was prepared different each time and equally as delicious. They have plenty of other options too, I just prefer seafood. All the excursions we did were wonderful. I liked the fact that the boat for some of the tours is on site. The staff is better than any I've experienced. I don't want to leave anyone out: Miss P, Amanda, Ben, Birdman, Armando, Victor, Savannah, Floyd, Kamike, Floyd and Keith. This is not counting all the people who were behind the scenes. All I can say is WOW! I miss it already. We visited Beaches and Dreams in August for a week's vacation with my family and my sister's family. We stayed in the Blue Parrot house booked through Beaches and Dreams, which allowed us all to be together with a pool on the beach. Making the reservations and booking the tours was a piece of cake. They just took such good care of us from the get go. Any question or issue was addressed immediately. The all Belizian staff was one of the best parts. They truly became our friends. During planning, I was a little worried about only having one restaurant, but it was actually one of my favorite parts. They had new dinner specials each day and the food was fantastic as was the service! Ben, Evan, Milky, Ceasar, Amanda...you guys are WONDERFUL. Oh, and the tours...I really thought they were booked through another company, but no...we had our very own tour guides and our tours were incredible. Our favorite had to be the Mayan temple and Cave Tubing with Oz. It was a FULL day, but I have never experienced anything like it and learned so much about Belizian history and culture. All of the tour guides...Oz, Victor, K-Mike, and the snorkeling crew again, just took great care of us. Everything was planned to perfection. This is truly a little slice of heaven. Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.

my husband and i spent our honeymoon at Beaches & Dreams. OMG it was the most AMAZING trip ever! All the staff are so friendly and fun to talk to. we learned so much about the culture and everyones lifestyles in Belize, saw some breathtaking views at Xunantunich, snorkeling, and even saw some howler monkeys and manatees during the river tour! Absolutely the most relaxing vacation we have taken. 2 couples, brother/sister and spouse’s. We stayed in the cabana rooms. Spacious room with wonderful location to beach, pool and restaurant, beds are comfortable and the a/c and fans kept the room perfect for us. Loved having the fridge and water bottle in the room. Loved the private patio.

Restaurant and bar, lots of food to eat everyday, we had to cut back drastically as there was so much. Enough of a variety for a weeks stay. Loved the fresh made everything. Loved the staff who got to know us pretty quickly. Shout out to Ben, Amanda, Kelsey. Mrs. P. And Doreen. All were great.

Loved that we choose our excursions ahead of time and had our days planned out. We did Bioluminescence tour, snorkeling, ruin and cave tubing, ATV, and monkey river tours. Great tour guides, KMiike was wonderful in the water tours.

We felt spoiled by all staff. We loved the small all inclusive feel over a Larger resort. Would highly recommend the resort and Hopkins village.

Read the information posted when making a reservation, they are very upfront with what is offered, available and costs.

Notes = they can’t control the weather or the sand bugs. But they do offer suggestions for both, so there are no surprise.

Use a golf cart to visit the village, a small town close by.

My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience.
