We spent 8 nights at Beaches and Dreams in February 2025 and it was perfect. The staff are extremely accommodating, even when I changed our tour choices a couple times. The tour guides we had, Victor and Keith for land tours, and Floyd, Mike and Anthony for sea tours were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The grounds are kept immaculate and the beach is raked every morning. I highly recommend this cozy resort. - Navigator750586 - 2/01/2025 

It's as advertised. A change of pace. The restaurant is very, very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of our interactions were with Victor and Keith on tours, and Milky and Ben in the restaurant. Miss P was cool too. For the week we were there (last week) we felt like the staff was part of our lives. It must be a talent they have to get that connected to people week in and week out. The ebb and flow of people coming and going. Must be a blur. The resort is your base for tours and adventures. The village of Hopkins is a brief diversion. Rent a golf cart and you can cover Hopkins in two hours. Highly regard this resort, just know what it is you want to do and have a plan. If you just want to sit around and look at the ocean that's great too. Just don't tell you're bored later. Have a plan for activities and go see Belize! - Walt - 1/01/2025 

The Beaches and Dreams experience was excellent! Everyone was great. Amanda at the restaurant was great, Keith was very accommodating, and our guide Victor was a superstar (clearly very knowledgeable and fun)! 10/10 recommend Beaches and Dreams, and the excursions: The Garifuna experience, reef snorkeling, and the Maya/cave tubing. - Adventure46706580899 - 7/15/2023 

We visited with a group of friends and family to celebrate my 50th. Beaches and Dreams has exceeded our expectations.

We are a group of mixed ages and abilities. The resort easily accommodates this variety. The relaxation opportunities are wonderful from lounging to massages to floating in the pool. The opportunities for the more adventurous range from caving to hiking and are breathtaking. The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Now let’s talk about the staff — or should I say “family” — who work at beaches and dreams. They are wonderful and might even be the best part of the trip. The people are genuine and happy. They are so welcoming and we just felt close to them. They know all of our names and even the bartender knows our itinerary.

I cannot say enough about the employees but an extra special shout out to Ms. P and Ben. Ms P is WONDERFUL. Aside from being a fantastic waitress, she is obviously a WONDERFUL human. She chatted with us in a manner that was genuine and real. I absolutely love her and hope to see her again. Ben is more reserved but his smile lights up the bar. He’s a great bartender and took care of all our special requests. He worked extremely hard while we were visiting and had a smile on his face.

I’m getting long winded so some other helpful details: beds good pillows and towels. Plenty of water in the rooms, small refrigerator, ice outside rooms, nice seating area, great solitary places to relax and great group places to relax.

my husband and i spent our honeymoon at Beaches & Dreams. OMG it was the most AMAZING trip ever! All the staff are so friendly and fun to talk to. we learned so much about the culture and everyones lifestyles in Belize, saw some breathtaking views at Xunantunich, snorkeling, and even saw some howler monkeys and manatees during the river tour! My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all! Highly recommend Beaches and Dreams. This was our first trip to Belize, the resort staff was very friendly, bartenders at the Barracuda were outstanding. We had nanny care for one day and my son loved her. We all felt safe here, people are honest and trustworthy, this includes the local people we encountered.
