Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

Amazing experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful facilities. Everything was perfect. Great communication before the trip, and all the assistance we needed during the trip. There's always opportunity for difficulty and stress when arriving in a foreign country and navigating around. From the moment we walked out of the airport (Victor was waiting with an air conditioned van) to the moment we left, Beaches and Dreams helped us create a wonderful Belize experience. We also had a lot of free time to explore on our own, and with the free bikes from B&D, we explored the beautiful village of Hopkins and spent time with the locals. - Nicholas - 7/27/2023 

This place has exceeded our expectations 10 fold. From the moment we have arrived till right now as I’m sitting in a chair at cabana village with a cold beer looking at the beautiful ocean. If the views don’t wow you the staff will. The food is amazing wait staff and bar tenders make sure you’re taken care of. Some of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time. Tomorrow is our last full day and I’m dreading saying bye to everyone . Ryan and Jess thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You have made this the absolute best vacation we have ever had and if I could rate this 100 stars I would . The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Sadly we visited at the start of rainy season, so didn't get to enjoy their beach. BUT, the stay, food, and excursions have all been great!

This resort is absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and accomodating, the scenery is lovely. We loved our stay there. The Barracuda Bar attached was amazing. Every dish served was better than the last by friendly servers such as Amanda and Milky and the bartender Ben matched with incredible drinks. Our tour guide for some of our excursions, Oz was incredibly knowledgeable and shared much of the history and culture of the community. All around 10 stars, best vacation! - Tiffany - 7/20/2024 

My husband and I took our honeymoon to Beaches and Dreams in the beginning of March 2023. It was the most amazing experience! The front staff was so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I really wanted a cabana but it was unavailable for the date when we were first arriving. The staff was able to set it up for us to be able to get the cabana a couple days after we arrived. The room change was flawless and they took care of everything while we were out on a tour that day. We didn't have to lift a finger. The wait staff, Miss P, Armando, Cesar, Ben, and Amanda, were outstanding and really got to know you, they remembered your name room and always made sure everything was satisfactory. Amanda was even great because when I couldn't decide what i wanted and asked her to chose for me and surprise me, she loved that and had so much fun with it. I'm indecisive about food/desert sometimes and I run into a lot of people that don't want to enjoy the freedom in helping me choose. She went above and beyond with it! The tours were incredible and very knowledgeable. Oz did an amazing job when he took us to the Mayan ruins and was also very knowledgeable on the Belizean history. Jeremy took us on the monkey river and he was great! He gave us a great show with the howler monkeys and even though we didn't see a crocodile Jeremy went in every nook and cranny on the river trying to find us one. We had an issue come up with one of our night turs because of the phase of the moon (completely out of Beaches and Dreams control) and originally had to cancel our bioluminescent tour. We were bummed but Mike and Floyd kept an eye on the sundown time and the time the moon rose and were able to take us on the tour the night before we left. It was just my husband and I and they went above and beyond to make sure we got to experience that. The experience that Beaches and Dreams gave us was way more than either of could have imagined and we are so thankful for what an incredible honeymoon they helped us have. Thank you sooo much! We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and it was fabulous! The Baracuda restaurant was right there and the food was amazing. All of our excursions were planned ahead of time, so all we had to do was show and go. Oz was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on our excursions. Best trip ever!! Great bartender Ben aka “sexy guy, Justin and Darnell were so helpful with any questions we had, Pauline in the restaurant was the best! K Mike took us snorkeling and it was awesome! We would love to come back to this quaint boutique resort again. It is so much better than the large , busy resorts you find in the touristy areas. - Favor - 3/04/2025

Beaches and Dreams was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Hopkins Village in Belize. We are a family of four with a 9 year old and an almost 3yr old. The staff was amazing. The sales/lobby staff including Darnel were great at communicating and planning excursions that elevated our trip while still giving us downtime to really enjoy our stay. We stayed in the "Treehouse " room which was a great space for a young family. The ability to be close to Hopkins yet have space and a quiet homebase for us was a must and this was the perfect location for just that. The resort staff was willing to do anything they could to assist us. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Having the Baracuta restraunt right there was also a great addition. The wait staff at the Baracuta made my family feel welcome at each meal and the food was always excellent. Special shout out to Amanda and Kelsy who were both so friendly that by the end both my kids wanted to make sure to say goodbye and even got hugs. We took advantage of several tours during our stay as well. The tour guides were all knowledgeable and welcoming. Manuel who took us to the Mayan ruins and the spice farm was the perfect guy for the job, Victor who took us bird watching was excellent and his love for birds was obvious and contagious. Captain Floyd and his team who took us snorkeling were friendly and knowledgeable, also patient with us bringing along a 3 year old who was obviously not going to be the best at snorkeling. And Oz who took drove us to our Monkey River tour was friendly and informative along our drive. An all around amazing experience. Couldn't have asked for a better staff from Resort to restaurant to tours everyone was amazing. Definitely recommend if staying in Hopkins Village. - Casey - 3/13/2025
