Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all! This place was special! It was my kids and husbands first international trip and it couldn’t have been better. First off the people at this resort will exceed your expectations. They smile, they don’t complain, their willingness to help, they share their culture, they are fun and even smile for the camera. They are so organized and keep everything running smoothly. The rooms are great! A wide variety of activities to do and the guides are so amazing! We loved every minute, loved Hopkins, loved the people. Mike and I are ready to go back. The staff in the office and the restaurant were very helpful and extremely friendly. The beach cabana I stayed in was large, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach and ocean. The restaurant offered a good selection of foods, an open view of the ocean and beach, and excellent service. The resort was within walking distance of four very good restaurants, and the free access to bicycles to the village was an added bonus. All in all, it was an excellent choice for those who are active, appreciate good food and scenery and love adventure tours. - DBS - 2/01/2025 

This place has exceeded our expectations 10 fold. From the moment we have arrived till right now as I’m sitting in a chair at cabana village with a cold beer looking at the beautiful ocean. If the views don’t wow you the staff will. The food is amazing wait staff and bar tenders make sure you’re taken care of. Some of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time. Tomorrow is our last full day and I’m dreading saying bye to everyone . Ryan and Jess thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You have made this the absolute best vacation we have ever had and if I could rate this 100 stars I would . ImmBest trip ever. Started with my fantastic pilot . I believe his name was Brian. Expert and so friendly . Safe take off and smooth landing yo Uopkins landing. Greeted byMelainie the office manager. The front desk Personel was top flight.
Let me not leave out my wonderful driver , Oz. So personable and knowledgeable about the layout of the village and possible village excursions. He was also my driver to the incredible waterfall hike. A must. Chsllengingvhutbohvso geautiful and worth the hike
Which brings me to Gicyor, the driver and tour guide tor the Mayanyour of pyramids and digs. He was awesome. His personality was so much fun. The tour was definitely enhanced by his commentary. We went to the “blue hole for a swim and a wonderful restaurant
There was a mix up with my lunch order and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had a delectable vegetarian lunch to my satisfaction
The food was beyond cesar, Milky, and Hirdman delivered frat gocktaiks Hrlican and Barrel one rum. Every meal was delectable i. Particularly the lobster tail and ribs. Bird man made sure I tasted a local fruit Cranoo. Delectable. Also a featured cocktail along with tamarind. The goconlicoband the coconut Kim are a must and the Jawuarbjuice.I am young back . I did not have enough time

Beaches and dreams was AMAZING! Every staff person was extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They were flexible and did a great job helping plan our week. One of us got sick and the staff made it a point to go out of their way to help in any way that they could. My husband and I recently had our honeymoon here and I had to say it was by far the best honeymoon that I could have ever imagined. staff are super friendly. We had eyes be one of our tour guides for one of our excursions to the Mayan runes and going cave tubing was an amazing experience with him as our guy does well. food there was phenomenal never disappointed. Highly recommend Beaches and Dreams. This was our first trip to Belize, the resort staff was very friendly, bartenders at the Barracuda were outstanding. We had nanny care for one day and my son loved her. We all felt safe here, people are honest and trustworthy, this includes the local people we encountered.
