Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. The Beaches and Dreams experience was excellent! Everyone was great. My husband and I recently had our honeymoon here and I had to say it was by far the best honeymoon that I could have ever imagined. staff are super friendly. We had eyes be one of our tour guides for one of our excursions to the Mayan runes and going cave tubing was an amazing experience with him as our guy does well. food there was phenomenal never disappointed. My husband and I took our honeymoon to Beaches and Dreams in the beginning of March 2023. It was the most amazing experience! The front staff was so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I really wanted a cabana but it was unavailable for the date when we were first arriving. The staff was able to set it up for us to be able to get the cabana a couple days after we arrived. The room change was flawless and they took care of everything while we were out on a tour that day. We didn't have to lift a finger. The wait staff, Miss P, Armando, Cesar, Ben, and Amanda, were outstanding and really got to know you, they remembered your name room and always made sure everything was satisfactory. Amanda was even great because when I couldn't decide what i wanted and asked her to chose for me and surprise me, she loved that and had so much fun with it. I'm indecisive about food/desert sometimes and I run into a lot of people that don't want to enjoy the freedom in helping me choose. She went above and beyond with it! The tours were incredible and very knowledgeable. Oz did an amazing job when he took us to the Mayan ruins and was also very knowledgeable on the Belizean history. Jeremy took us on the monkey river and he was great! He gave us a great show with the howler monkeys and even though we didn't see a crocodile Jeremy went in every nook and cranny on the river trying to find us one. We had an issue come up with one of our night turs because of the phase of the moon (completely out of Beaches and Dreams control) and originally had to cancel our bioluminescent tour. We were bummed but Mike and Floyd kept an eye on the sundown time and the time the moon rose and were able to take us on the tour the night before we left. It was just my husband and I and they went above and beyond to make sure we got to experience that. The experience that Beaches and Dreams gave us was way more than either of could have imagined and we are so thankful for what an incredible honeymoon they helped us have. Thank you sooo much! This place has exceeded our expectations 10 fold. From the moment we have arrived till right now as I’m sitting in a chair at cabana village with a cold beer looking at the beautiful ocean. If the views don’t wow you the staff will. The food is amazing wait staff and bar tenders make sure you’re taken care of. Some of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time. Tomorrow is our last full day and I’m dreading saying bye to everyone . Ryan and Jess thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You have made this the absolute best vacation we have ever had and if I could rate this 100 stars I would . We spent 8 nights at Beaches and Dreams in February 2025 and it was perfect. The staff are extremely accommodating, even when I changed our tour choices a couple times. The tour guides we had, Victor and Keith for land tours, and Floyd, Mike and Anthony for sea tours were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The grounds are kept immaculate and the beach is raked every morning. I highly recommend this cozy resort. - Navigator750586 - 2/01/2025 

Highly recommend, particularly for groups. We had six families, 21 people, and Beaches and Dreams staff worked with us to coordinate a group trip with different packages to meet the needs of each family. The resort itself is the perfect size for such a trip. Our teenagers (and several of the adults) could play volleyball any time they wanted. There was never a battle for pool chairs or space. The paddle boards, bikes, and golf carts were readily available most of the time.

But the best thing about Beaches and Dreams is, by far, the people. Every one of them is friendly, enthusiastic, and so good at what they do. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, with a variety of delicious cocktails (included in the drink package) and even got creative and a few new ones to hit the spot with our party. The restaurant, Barracuda, was fantastic. They managed our group of 21 perfectly, and the food was delicious every time. Between the regular menu and specials, I had something different every time and still left without trying everything I wanted to. The tour guides and drivers for the excursions are so knowledgeable about the area and happy to share that information. The people of Hopkins are friendly and we felt safe and welcomed at all times.
