Quaint and very relaxing. This is by far the most friendly staff We have ever delt with. Catering to any needs you might have. The resort is small and family owned. Super chill , yet they planned every detail with activities and excursions for us. We didn't have to do a thing when we got there ,other than show up on time. I was quite emotional when it came time to leave, because I felt immersed with their families and staff. The tours were excellent as well. More - Diana - 8/13/2023 

My husband and I took our honeymoon to Beaches and Dreams in the beginning of March 2023. It was the most amazing experience! The front staff was so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I really wanted a cabana but it was unavailable for the date when we were first arriving. The staff was able to set it up for us to be able to get the cabana a couple days after we arrived. The room change was flawless and they took care of everything while we were out on a tour that day. We didn't have to lift a finger. The wait staff, Miss P, Armando, Cesar, Ben, and Amanda, were outstanding and really got to know you, they remembered your name room and always made sure everything was satisfactory. Amanda was even great because when I couldn't decide what i wanted and asked her to chose for me and surprise me, she loved that and had so much fun with it. I'm indecisive about food/desert sometimes and I run into a lot of people that don't want to enjoy the freedom in helping me choose. She went above and beyond with it! The tours were incredible and very knowledgeable. Oz did an amazing job when he took us to the Mayan ruins and was also very knowledgeable on the Belizean history. Jeremy took us on the monkey river and he was great! He gave us a great show with the howler monkeys and even though we didn't see a crocodile Jeremy went in every nook and cranny on the river trying to find us one. We had an issue come up with one of our night turs because of the phase of the moon (completely out of Beaches and Dreams control) and originally had to cancel our bioluminescent tour. We were bummed but Mike and Floyd kept an eye on the sundown time and the time the moon rose and were able to take us on the tour the night before we left. It was just my husband and I and they went above and beyond to make sure we got to experience that. The experience that Beaches and Dreams gave us was way more than either of could have imagined and we are so thankful for what an incredible honeymoon they helped us have. Thank you sooo much! I give this resort an A+. The staff was amazing and so friendly!!! The rooms were great. And food was fantastic!! All of the expeditions were top notch!! I would recommend Beaches & Dreams. Hopkins is a lovely place to get away!! The golf carts are fun too 😊 - Rachel - 2/01/2025 

The employees at Beaches & Dreams are what makes this resort so fabulous. It is a small resort with only 11 rooms. Because of the smaller size, we really got to know the employees and the other guests. One of my friends hurt her back while there. Melanie in the office called the local pharmacy to ask about a back brace, but they didn't have any. So, Melanie had her husband bring hers from home which she sold to my friend. Wow! We visited with a group of friends and family to celebrate my 50th. Beaches and Dreams has exceeded our expectations.

We are a group of mixed ages and abilities. The resort easily accommodates this variety. The relaxation opportunities are wonderful from lounging to massages to floating in the pool. The opportunities for the more adventurous range from caving to hiking and are breathtaking. The tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Now let’s talk about the staff — or should I say “family” — who work at beaches and dreams. They are wonderful and might even be the best part of the trip. The people are genuine and happy. They are so welcoming and we just felt close to them. They know all of our names and even the bartender knows our itinerary.

I cannot say enough about the employees but an extra special shout out to Ms. P and Ben. Ms P is WONDERFUL. Aside from being a fantastic waitress, she is obviously a WONDERFUL human. She chatted with us in a manner that was genuine and real. I absolutely love her and hope to see her again. Ben is more reserved but his smile lights up the bar. He’s a great bartender and took care of all our special requests. He worked extremely hard while we were visiting and had a smile on his face.

I’m getting long winded so some other helpful details: beds good pillows and towels. Plenty of water in the rooms, small refrigerator, ice outside rooms, nice seating area, great solitary places to relax and great group places to relax.
