Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

Went to Belize with my dear friend and daughter for a last-minute celebratory 6-night getaway. Loved Hopkins Village and Beaches & Dreams. It's a tight knit staff, comfortable oceanfront rooms and wonderful food. They coordinated all of our tours and help to move tours around when the weather didn't cooperate. While all of the staff work together to make our stay welcoming and memorable, we wanted mention a few by name. Shout outs to Amanda and the rest of the restaurant crew who made every meal a delight, Nadine's help coordinating our tours, Keith's knowledge of Mayan culture and ecology during the cave/Mayan ruin tour, Kimike's and Alvin's sealife spotting (saw a sea turtle, barracuda, nurse shark, and beautiful fish), Terri's firing up the Howler monkeys and his incredible knowledge of local wildlife. Jessica and Ryan have created a wonderful little taste of Belize for folks seeing an easy getaway. - Lauren - 1/01/2025 

This place has exceeded our expectations 10 fold. From the moment we have arrived till right now as I’m sitting in a chair at cabana village with a cold beer looking at the beautiful ocean. If the views don’t wow you the staff will. The food is amazing wait staff and bar tenders make sure you’re taken care of. Some of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time. Tomorrow is our last full day and I’m dreading saying bye to everyone . Ryan and Jess thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You have made this the absolute best vacation we have ever had and if I could rate this 100 stars I would . This resort is absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and accomodating, the scenery is lovely. We loved our stay there. The Barracuda Bar attached was amazing. Every dish served was better than the last by friendly servers such as Amanda and Milky and the bartender Ben matched with incredible drinks. Our tour guide for some of our excursions, Oz was incredibly knowledgeable and shared much of the history and culture of the community. All around 10 stars, best vacation! - Tiffany - 7/20/2024

We celebrate our 25th anniversary there and it was a dream come true! From the easy booking to the amazing communication and absolutely stunning atmosphere, we would love to come back! The staff are second to none and you really feel like they want to have the best experience! They each remembered our name, our food preferences and even where we like to sit in the restaurant. The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Sadly we visited at the start of rainy season, so didn't get to enjoy their beach. BUT, the stay, food, and excursions have all been great!

Highly recommend Beaches and Dreams. This was our first trip to Belize, the resort staff was very friendly, bartenders at the Barracuda were outstanding. We had nanny care for one day and my son loved her. We all felt safe here, people are honest and trustworthy, this includes the local people we encountered. We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and it was fabulous! The Baracuda restaurant was right there and the food was amazing. All of our excursions were planned ahead of time, so all we had to do was show and go. Oz was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on our excursions. Best trip ever!! Great bartender Ben aka “sexy guy, Justin and Darnell were so helpful with any questions we had, Pauline in the restaurant was the best! K Mike took us snorkeling and it was awesome!
