Highly recommend Beaches and Dreams. This was our first trip to Belize, the resort staff was very friendly, bartenders at the Barracuda were outstanding. We had nanny care for one day and my son loved her. We all felt safe here, people are honest and trustworthy, this includes the local people we encountered. The staff in the office and the restaurant were very helpful and extremely friendly. The beach cabana I stayed in was large, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach and ocean. The restaurant offered a good selection of foods, an open view of the ocean and beach, and excellent service. The resort was within walking distance of four very good restaurants, and the free access to bicycles to the village was an added bonus. All in all, it was an excellent choice for those who are active, appreciate good food and scenery and love adventure tours. - DBS - 2/01/2025

I bought myself a solo trip for my birthday and Beaches and Dreams did not disappoint! Such a beautiful location in Hopkins, Belize. The staff know the locals. The excursions are fun, the city/town is safe, the food is amazing with daily specials, and the overall experience is unmatched! I’ll be back Belize and Beaches and Dreams! What a wonderful resort. They make you feel so special, call you by name, have the friendliest staff I've even encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. excursions were great, tour guides, and driver's, Oz , Manuel, and Victor were so knowledgeable and fun. Captain Terri on the Monkey River tour fantastic, The whole snorkling crew really went out of theur way to shiw you fish and wildlife .Can't say enough about Ben at the bar, Amanda in the restaurant , Milky in the restaurant and Armando in the restaurant. Beaches and Dreams is truly something special. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.

Every excursion was incredible. The snorkeling was crystal-clear and unforgettable, and the Mayan ruins paired with cave tubing was so much fun, and the waterfall repel and zip line was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I even caught a Barracuda while fishing and the chef cooked it fried and grilled!

The beach itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what you imagine when you picture Belize. I stayed in a beachfront cabana, which was amazing. Waking up to the ocean steps from your door never gets old.

And the food—wow. The chef is absolutely phenomenal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the nightly specials—every single meal was outstanding. It felt like a culinary experience, not just resort food.

What truly sets Beaches and Dreams apart, though, is the hospitality. It’s beyond awesome. Everyone introduces themselves, learns your name, and genuinely cares about your experience. It’s elegant and classy, and feels like family. You don’t feel like a guest—you feel like you belong.

People like Kmike, King, Moses, Floyd, Keith, Darlene, Oz, Justin (best bartender!), and so many others made this stay unforgettable. By the end, it felt like I’d been coming here for years.

And Belize is an amazing place. It’s beautiful and the people/culture is unlike any other place I have visited. I have vacationed all over the world, and there is something truly unique and special about this place. I can’t describe it - you just have to visit.
