Beaches & Dreams and Cabana Village

Quaint and very relaxing. This is by far the most friendly staff We have ever delt with. Catering to any needs you might have. The resort is small and family owned. Super chill , yet they planned every detail with activities and excursions for us. We didn't have to do a thing when we got there ,other than show up on time. I was quite emotional when it came time to leave, because I felt immersed with their families and staff. The tours were excellent as well. More - Diana - 8/13/2023

The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Sadly we visited at the start of rainy season, so didn't get to enjoy their beach. BUT, the stay, food, and excursions have all been great!

My husband and I recently had our honeymoon here and I had to say it was by far the best honeymoon that I could have ever imagined. staff are super friendly. We had eyes be one of our tour guides for one of our excursions to the Mayan runes and going cave tubing was an amazing experience with him as our guy does well. food there was phenomenal never disappointed. My daughter ( Cassidy Woods)and I just returned from Hopkins Village staying 7 nights at Beaches and Dreams. It was all things amazing. The entire staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The transfers to/from Dangriga were flawless and every one of our excursions were amazing. Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, drinks and wait staff were 10/10 professional and friendly. I have never had such a completely flawless resort experience. We were called by name from day one. We truly got the real Belizean experience. Special shout out to the entire staff…these are the names that managed to make it back to ❄️Minnesota❄️with me: Oswood, Amanda, Keith, Kelsey, Justin, Kmike, Victor. Thank you all! Highly recommend, particularly for groups. We had six families, 21 people, and Beaches and Dreams staff worked with us to coordinate a group trip with different packages to meet the needs of each family. The resort itself is the perfect size for such a trip. Our teenagers (and several of the adults) could play volleyball any time they wanted. There was never a battle for pool chairs or space. The paddle boards, bikes, and golf carts were readily available most of the time.

But the best thing about Beaches and Dreams is, by far, the people. Every one of them is friendly, enthusiastic, and so good at what they do. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing, with a variety of delicious cocktails (included in the drink package) and even got creative and a few new ones to hit the spot with our party. The restaurant, Barracuda, was fantastic. They managed our group of 21 perfectly, and the food was delicious every time. Between the regular menu and specials, I had something different every time and still left without trying everything I wanted to. The tour guides and drivers for the excursions are so knowledgeable about the area and happy to share that information. The people of Hopkins are friendly and we felt safe and welcomed at all times.

We had a great time!!! We stayed down the beach at their sister resort, Parrot Cove, as they were booked but did our meals and tours and other activities at Beaches. People are amazing and they were helpful from the first email I sent. Booking answered all questions and were quick to respond. We really got to know the staff. Ben the bartender, Amanda, Darnell, Victor, Keith just a few of the many who were truly great. We have been to the Caribbean many times (25+) and Beaches and Dreams is one of the favorite places we have been. From the top notch food, the personable staff, great communication the guides on the excursions we chose and meeting one of the owners.
